Celebrated graphic designer Paula Scher once said: "It's through mistakes that you actually can grow. You have to get bad in order to get good."
And we at Workwhile couldn't agree more. So this March, we're bringing you Garech and Declan Stone of the Stone Twins to share some of their creative mistakes and how these mistakes shaped their success.
With practical advice, real connections, and as always, drinks and snacks provided by The Hoxton, this event is bound to be a bring out the worst - and ultimately the best - in all of us.
About the Stone Twins
The Stone Twins is an award-winning creative agency - founded by twin brothers Declan & Garech Stone - specialising in the field of branding, advertising, communications and everything in between. The Stone Twins have a reputation for ideas-based, strategic and witty design solutions.
The Stone Twins led the creative vision for A’DAM; the agency conceived the name ‘A’DAM’ - an acronym for ‘Amsterdam Dance and Music’ - and oversaw branding, communication and creative direction of the various design teams. They have also created the brand identities for MassiveMusic, The Media Nanny and Modefabriek. Passionate and assertive about design, The Stone Twins are the authors of ‘Logo R.I.P.’ – a book that commemorates 50 defunct logos. In addition, the duo were Head of the ‘Man and Communication’ department at Design Academy Eindhoven from 2008 until 2013.
This event took place on 28th March 2018 and was SOLD OUT.
